Lydian Singers competed at the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod. Lydian singers
entered 3 choirs - Lydian Ladies Choir, Lydian Men’s Choir and Lydian
Singers (ladies and men).

The combined choir took out 1^st prize  and ladies were pleased to take
2^nd  prize with the men  in 4^th place.

Well it was nice of men to let the ladies win again !!! but ladies watch out at
the next Eisteddfod.

A Review of the Bay Basin Music Club Concert

What a wonderful afternoon of musical entertainment! The Lydian Singers performance at the
Bay & Basin Music Club concert was a delightful experience of mostly popular Broadway items,
presented in a light and entertaining fashion. If the ‘oos’ and ‘ahs’ of the people around me meant
anything, then there were a lot of very happy people in St Georges Basin that afternoon.
The variety of soloists, male choir, female choir, and full combined choir added to the depth of a
beautiful concert, with wonderful arrangements of ‘old favourites’ being delivered in such a new and
fresh way.
